The new version of the OSNMA Receiver Guidelines for the Test Phase provides test vectors and sample data supporting the verification of the OSNMA functionality implementation. It also clarifies the concept of “slow MAC”.

The European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA) together with the European Commission has published version 1.1 of the Galileo Open Service Navigation Message Authentication (OSNMA) Receiver Guidelines for the Test Phase. This updated version provides the following changes to the previous version:

  • Provision of additional OSNMA test vectors (binary data) covering different configurations and signal status allowing the developers to verify the proper implementation of the OSNMA protocol.
  • Clarification of the GST retrieval and verification operations for users exploiting the slow MACs;

You can find the updated version of the Galileo OSNMA Receiver Guidelines for the Test Phase in the Electronic Library of the GSC website.
