Summary Tool Name SGSE-2 Electromagnetic Environmental Effects E3 Short Description Electromagnetic Compatibility Area has complete testing facilities for performing complete EMC tests campaigns, including radiated and conducted emission, radiated and conducted susceptibility, electrostatic discharge (ESD) and transient testing in the time domain. Electrical and RF Area performs tests, analysis and functional tests for the evaluation, qualification and certification of equipment, subsystems and systems in the aerospace (and industrial in general) sector. Among others, tests performed by the area are space RF tests (mainly for satellites and their systems and components), power handling tests on space units, multipactor and corona discharge measurements, products of intermodulation (PIM) with temperature variation, electrical climatic testing of large dimension equipment and radiometric and thermo-elastic distortion (TED) measurements.
