What is the OSNMA IDD?

The OSNMA Internet Data Distribution (IDD) interface provides the user with cryptographic OSNMA data, including:

  • On the GSC website: Public Key (PK), Merkle Tree root and nodes, End Entity (EE) certificates and Issuing Certificate Authority (ICA) certificates.
  • On EUSPA website: Root Certificate Authority (RCA) and Subordinate Certificate Authority (SCA) certificates

The steps to access this material can be found here. All detailed instructions on how to retrieve and use the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) certificates and initialise the trust store in the receiver can be found in OSNMA Internet Data Distribution (IDD) ICD.

In order to access the OSNMA IDD interfaces at the GSC (website and SFTP), the user shall be registered in the GSC website. No registration is needed to access the OSNMA IDD interface at the EUSPA website.

How to access the OSNMA IDD interfaces?

Click here to create a user account at the GSC. After the registration process, the user will be granted access to the OSNMA products from the GSC web portal (Merkle Tree, Public key, PKI EE certificates and PKI ICA certificates) or from the SFTP. Further instructions can be found here.

Users can also choose to subscribe to OSNMA IDD notifications.

No registration is needed to access the OSNMA IDD Interface at the EUSPA website (RCA and SCA certificates).

What are the OSNMA IDD notifications?

The OSNMA IDD notifications are related to the availability of OSNMA Internet Data Distribution Interface and the related cryptographic material provided therein.
